Me at 5 and 15...

From what I remember, when I was 5, I think I liked dressing up...if anything, I liked dressing up in the same clothes as quatre...Mommy always bought us the same things....Loved it... she on the other hand, not too much...

Me at 15...sigh where do I even start...just out of HS, I was just getting over the stage where I liked short things...I had this skirt I would wear it was this short and I would prance around the neighborhood with my 'Legs 11' as my cousin called them....One day, I realized that skirt was wayyyy to short....that and my legs were spottier that I gave them credit for...

Make up-ing

*Cue soft piano intro*
There was a time I never wore make-up except for when I was 'going out'...then I realized a tiny part of growing up was making my face look presentable...
These days, I try to wear make up almost everyday (except if I'm running errands)...and by everyday, I mean when I'm going to work, school, church, etc...

So my routine is pretty basic...
  • No foundation/powder or anything like that
  • Eye shadow: Can't seem to switch palettes b/c I'm scared I'll look different so for as long as I can remember, I've been using and still use violet and purple palettes (I once heard somewhere that its best to wear eye shadow that's the opposite of the color of your eyes because it will really bring out your eyes). Brown eyes = Violet/light purple shades...Obviously this also depends on your skin color/tone...
Can't really see the color palette here but that's what I use...The larger one has a dark brown shadow that's for lining the eyes (eye pencils/liners can make the eyes look harsh so powder is better)

  • I finish off with mascara but if I'm really feeling daring, I still use my eye pencil for extra definition...

And that's it...I occasionally use a bit of blush but not really...

I do want to experiment but...maybe in a little while....oh I really wanna learn how to do a 'smoky eye'....
