The Gram Life

If Less is More then More is like....

Amazing!!!

I think there is a difference between having too many of something and an inability to stop buying something, one evokes guilt, the other pride. I will explain.

I Can't Stop Buying:
  1. Jewelry; I am  not talking gold and diamonds here, just some costume pieces. I don't believe you can ever have too much. It is one the top five things I will take with me in an evacuation. Like yes, it is listed above my passport. Its such a unique collection, the sentiment out weighs the value.

  1. White Shirts/Tops/Blouses/T-shirts: There is just something about a white shirt. Whenever I find a nice top I like, I usually always buy it in several colors, one being white. I have a white shirts only drawer.  No, they are not listed above my passport.
  2. Purses: I still believe that I am not a shoe person, I don't send hours browsing the Internet for shoes ever. Now, purses are my thing. These are my trophies. I research them, read reviews about them, hunt them down, stalk them till I can afford to buy them. The day I finally bring them home to meet their new brothers and sisters, the RUSH!!!!
  3. Scarves: I always have a different favorite that I wear for months and months and months and then discover one I bought years ago and obsess over it for months and months and months. They compliment any outfit, you can't have too many.
  4. Dress Pants: It took me years like literally years, to finally find pants that could fit my waist and have enough length for my height, because apparently at 5ft 6inches, I am like a giant. Anyways, even now finding pants is like a chore, I don't ever shop for pants, but whenever I am casually passing by minding my own business and I see a pair of pants that look OK and fit well and is reasonably priced, I buy it.
I Have Too Many:
  1. Jeans: In my defense, I still have every pair of jeans I have ever owned in the past 10 years. Its one thing I never get rid off. I haven't bought Jeans in about a year and a half. I constantly have to remind myself, I have very cut and wash I could ever want. And for my sisters that might try to dispute my purchase claim, I returned that Banana Republic pair when I got home.
  2. Coats: Do I have more than 15? Yes I do. I will be making no further comment on this.
