The Gram Life

Its Thursday, Thursday, gotta get down on Thursday.....

I do absolutely nothing on any given day of the week if I'm not working because school's not in session yet but what's funny is that on this particular Thursday that I'm writing about, I did a lot more than I've ever done (compared to my 'nothing' days)

7:00am: Alarm (phone) goes off, I turn off the fan/white-noise maker; hit the SNOOZE button...

7:10am: Wake up...change into some running clothes...

7:20 - 7:50: Out the door for a run...This actually was my first day running outside...For the past 1 1/2 months, I've been running on the treadmill...Why?! I'm training for a 5k in September (http://www.newhavenroadrace.org/) Woo hoo...so excited!!!!!

7:55 - 8:25am: Back home...Yoga to refresh and stretch...Feeling pumped for the day!!

8:25 - 9:00am: Shower and dress up. I pretty much use generic stuff for AM care i.e. Dove cucumber body bar, Crest Pro-health, Lubriderm Advanced therapy lotion, etc. This summer has been the season for wearing all my neglected clothes...and boy do I have a lot of 'em...I pick a purple baby doll shirt ...(looks like this but purple and has capped and ruched sleeves...and its shorter in length compared to that...the ladies might have something to do with that) that I've actually had for about 2 and sum'n years...wore it like twice but never had the right bra for it...finally have the right bra but over the years, my ladies have grown and the shirt seems to have shrunk but I do my *MosaAkin shrug* and throw it on anyway with a pair of old, blue jeans (threw these on to go out )

9:00 - 9:50am: Say my prayers and take a short snooze...whew...all that running energy is starting to get to me seeing as I haven't had breakfast...

10:00 - 11:00am: Get the kiddies ready for the day...baths, breakfast, etc.

*Take a mental break*

11:30am: My breakfast time which consisted of a tofu and egg omelette and Ogi...*yummy* while reading the 1st chapter of a Francine Rivers novel ...intriguing already!!!
An early morning workout will usually give me a boost for the day and I gotta use up that energy somehow...

12pm - 1:30pm: Did some cleaning.

*Another mental break*/ Reading.

2:30pm - 4:30pm: Lunch for everybody...Mac and cheese with ham for the kids; Mac and chesse with coleslaw for me... *shame shame shame* and meeting Sis Un for MD appt for the little one.

Now this is where my day get interesting...

4:45 - 7:45pm: Park with the kids...So much fun!!! Swings, tire swings, jungle gym!!! Awesome... Mr. Un then joined us and we played some tennis...more swinging and tire swings...

8:00pm: Hungry kids...Pit stop @ Wendy's for kids meals...Home.

8:30pm: Dinner for the rest of the fam which was Spaghetti with veggies and chicken wings...a little salty but otherwise tasty!!! <---what's left of it...

Of course, I help myself to a nice, juicy, Spicy Chicken sandwich from Wendy's...Its was sooooo good!!!! (I know one of my sis is prob cringing and giving me the side eye...in addition to the side eye from the Mac and cheese lunch :-/)

9:15pm - End of the night (12am or 1am latest, hopefully): Clean-up; Chilling; writing this post; Thinking about my poor food choices for the day; celebrating my first outside run in preparedness for my 5k; reading my Bible; collapsing on my bed from a long but eventful and fun day; thinking about how much my body will hurt tomorrow :-/; thinking about my weekend (work); roaming the www for interesting and possibly useless info...BED!!

Fun day!!!
