The Gram Life

So I was talking to Un and she wanted to do a fashion challenge. I have been scouting various fashion blogs looking for different ideas. The challenge probably shouldn't be done consecutively or in any particular order. Just pick one any week when you are feeling up to it.

Goal
The goal of this challenge is for you to explore your closet and hone your personal style. Some days will be hits and other days will be misses. But the best way to learn is from your own mistakes. At the end of this challenge, you will/should have:
  1. rediscovered items currently in your closet and many more ways to wear them
  2. discarded items that you never wear because you have finally realized that you can't because of the fit, or style, or  color or for  whatever other reason
  3. improved your color matching skills
  4. create more easy go-to/ comfort outfits

Week 1: No Black

This will help you learn how to mix and match colors and figure out what colors work for you.

Week 2: No Pants

Week 3: Black & White

Week 4: Brand New

A lot of people have this problem. They buy clothing they love and then never wear it;  either because they do not know how or they are saving the look. This week find 7 never been worn things in your closet and wear it.
At the end, you might figure out its not your style after all and donate it or you might fall in love or better yet figure some new looks you have never tried before.

Week 5: Flats
Flat shoes very sophisticated when worn properly. This week incorporate flat shoes into your outfit all week. Try them with pants or try them with skirts or dresses.

Week 6: Heels Only
Same as above, Not boots.

Week 7: One item many ways.
Pick an item from your closet and find 7 different ways to wear it for the next 7 days.

Source: 1 & 2

Week 8: Cardigans

They say there are cardigan people and then there are blazer people. Why can't you be both?
There is an art to layering and then pulling everything together with a cardigan or a blazer.

Week 9: Blazers

Week 10: Scarves
Wear a scarf every day this week and learn to tie it differently everyday.

Week 11: Boots Only
Try  them with pants, Try them with Skirts or Dresses. Boots everyday, all day.

Week 12: All Black

Black is forever a classic. Black is the New Black.
Wear black all week, try adding a pop of color

Week 13: Black just on Top.
Wear black on top and any color underneath.
Experiment with different colored pants or skirts. Every color goes!!

Week 14: Dress for Fall.
Learning to "dress" warm during cooler weather is a great skill to have. This gives you a chance to explore boots, tights, but most importantly layering.
