The Gram Life

What I've learned from Fashion AKA What my sister's have taught me!!

I think so far, the most important thing is:
  1. 'A' for Effort: Do't just drag yourself out of the house even if you're just hitting up the local Stop n' shop/Target...you never know who you'll bump into... an old friend (or nemesis >:X); Michelle Obama (coming to a Target next door!); or even Mr. Right (oh la la!!). Anyway, as Clinton from 'What Not to Wear' said (iParaphrase): Let's join the fight against the casualization of America (i.e. pajamas to the store)
  2. Accessories: In Progress...please check back later! :-D
  3. Dress for yourself: I for one am very into this because I hate being uncomfortable and always adjusting this sleeve or that belt or that bodice...um...ever heard of "Comfort is Key"?. in my younger days, just a few short years ago, i used to dress just because I had the outfit and HAD to wear it at some point...ugh...how uncomfortable...these days, if I don't like it, I won't wear it...I do however have a problem parting with things so even though I don't wear the clothes I don't like, I can't seem to let them go...I keep thinking "Well, maybe I'll try it one more time to see if it fits now..." *sigh*...I digress... The point: Be comfortable in your skin...and what covers it too!! if you don't like it, don't wear it.
  4. Classic pieces are exactly what they are: Classic. Whether is an LBD or power suit or plain tee or heels, they never go out of fashion.
